It all started with shitty poetry in rehab when I was a kid. With such a colorful past, stories were never hard to create. I left high school in 9th grade and hitchhiked the country when I was fourteen.. that lasted till about twenty.
I became obsessed with Kerouac and dreamt of freedom and prose. By the time I was sober and 27, I had millions of stories written without a clue of how to get them seen. I published my first article in 2013 for VIBE. So started my career as a freelance writer.
I established myself as a credible travel writer after I broke the Guinness World Record for Longest Journey by Car in a Single Country in 2016. It was featured across the globe and I went on many TV shows and did interviews all over.
I then wrote one book, then another. I produced a movie starring Sidney Poitier and Dennis Haysbert. In fact, Nelson Mandela made an appearance as well. I launched an entertainment PR agency in Hollywood and became a music and film publicist. All of it was born from my love for writing and desire to earn an income with it.
I began publishing articles for The Bravo Network, USA Today, Playboy, ELLE, and many others and continued traveling the world until I decided to slow down. I had always wanted to start an online school for Vagabonds to share all the secrets and hacks with people just like me how many doors writing can open, and how to do it.
That’s why all this was born. I now live in the Hudson valley of New York and drink way too much overpriced coffee.
